Well, the hand is looking pretty good these days. When Erin and Marissa were visiting last Friday, I decided, with her professional approval, to remove the splint and type my sermon. What a relief that was. It made it possible to do the work in a much shorter time than if I had used the "one finger" method with my left hand. And it enabled me to do a better job since I compose at the keyboard (which is difficult to do if your are typing left-handed with the one-finger method). I go to the doctor next Wednesday for removal from the wire that penetrates my fingernail and finger tip bone to anchor the tendon. He said, "You are not going to like me when I remove that wire." He's probably right! In fact, I'm not liking him very much just thinking about it.  Posted by Picasa

  1. Wow, Dad! What an amazing recovery. I'm so glad that things worked out well, and isn't it nice to have family with professional expertise? Love ya!
